The Guyana Defence Force (GDF) continues to improve the skill and competence of its specialists with continuous training opportunities available to them at all levels. Recently 30 ranks from across the Force graduated following their successful completion of the Junior All Arms Ordnance Course.
During their 12 weeks of training the students were exposed to a number of key study areas in both the theoretical and practical aspects of storekeeping within the GDF. Exercises were also conducted to assess their competence levels following the various modules.
The ranks are now equipped with the knowledge and skills to competently understand and execute responsibilities for stores and combat supplies. They can also function effectively as store-men and women in the GDF.
Privates Andel Marslowe and Alero Allen were awarded Best Graduating Student and Runner-up Student respectively.
