Service Through Communication

To join the GDF, you must:

Be a citizen of Guyana

Be between the ages of 17 years 9 months and 30 years old

Possess at least a secondary school education

Pass the physical, medical, and aptitude assessments

Have good character and no criminal record

No prior military experience is needed. The GDF will provide you with comprehensive basic and advanced military training to prepare you for your role.
