Officers who recently graduated from the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) Standard Officers Course 55 took part in a clean-up exercise at the Kingston Seawall and Marriott Beachfront, demonstrating their commitment to community service and environmental stewardship.

The initiative, part of the course’s community project, reflects the GDF’s dedication to environmental preservation and national development. It allowed the officers to contribute to the community while enhancing their leadership and teamwork skills beyond their military duties.
Aligned with the Government of Guyana’s environmental sustainability goals, the exercise also raised public awareness about the importance of maintaining clean public spaces.
The GDF continues to support environmental care and community involvement in its mission to serve the nation.
