Meet 20884 Corporal Malika Scotland- Firds female Paratrooper

Meet 20884 Corporal Malika Scotland. She enlisted in the Guyana Defence Force in 2007 and is currently IC Registry/ Secretary at the 31 Special Forces Squadron. As a Private soldier , Scotland sucessfully completed the Basic Paratroopers Course to become the first female Paratrooper in the Guyana Defence Force.
” The sky is my limit. My journey with the GDF thus far , has been truly rewarding and a wonderful learning experience. Each day that I prepare for work , I feel pleased with the decision I made in 2007 to enlist to serve my country. I am a proud member of the Women’s Army Corps.”
