Students from schools across Guyana have been visiting Base Camp Ayanganna as part of the Ministry of Education’s programme that allows young people to tour places of national interest.
During their visits, the students were given guided tours of several facilities within the base, where they learned about the role of the Guyana Defence Force, its history, and the important work carried out daily in service to the nation. The tours also provided an opportunity for students to interact with members of the Force and gain insight into the values of discipline, leadership, and service.
The Guyana Defence Force is pleased to support initiatives that help young people better understand the work of the Joint Services while inspiring the next generation of leaders.
